Founded by the Sisters of Charity of the Incarnate Word in 1931, St. Bernardine is a regional non-profit tertiary care hospital serving the Inland Empire, one of the fastest-growing areas in the country. We provide a wide range of well-respected inpatient and outpatient services responsive to community need. We are, I would say, best known for our comprehensive orthopedic services and our Inland Empire Heart & Vascular Institute.
Overall orthopedic services at St. Bernardine Medical Center continue to be top-rated. Our state-of-the-art Heart & Vascular Institute is the second busiest program in Southern California, with more than 650 open heart surgeries performed here each year.
This level of quality is possible because the hospital is consistently on the leading edge of technologies and techniques, and we make compassionate care and patient satisfaction a priority.
