Patient and Family Advisory Council

St. Bernardine Medical Center invites you and your family to participate in our Patient and Family Advisory Council.

Our focus is on Maternal/Child and families, and we really need you, your experiences and ideas to enhance the services of this special unit. The council will allow patients a voice to speak about their expectations, concerns, and experiences. In fact, our mission is to provide the highest standards of comprehensive and compassionate healthcare at St. Bernardine Medical Center. We believe that input from patients can greatly impact how care is being provided in a positive manner.

The council will  work in partnership with our healthcare providers to:
-Strengthen communication and collaboration among patients, families, caregivers and staff;
-Promote patient and family advocacy and involvement;
-Propose and participate in Maternal/Child programs, services and policies.

Come join the council on the third Friday of every odd month (in September and November 2009, and January 2010) for lunch. The hospital offers free valet parking, and lunch will be provided as well as babysitting services. In fact, we encourage you to bring your child.

A free gift will be given to each participant as a token of our appreciation.

Please contact Kimberlee Prokopij, RN, BSN, hospital Patient Satisfaction Coordinator at 909.475.2528 for additional information.
